Try opening the audio file in an editor such as audacity and saving it using the default settings and then try using it again. It's always worth trying defaults in a situation like this.

OK, you've confirmed that it's the lipsyncing that's doing it, so while you might not understand it - it gives us something to look at.

I don't think it will be anything specific, but any chance you can send us a file that is failing for you - just in case it's something with the files - which I doubt? Also, can you try importing it with no characters present?

I'm thinking it may be the lipsync that's doing it.

1- yes both wav,mp3, including files that worked before.
2-only dialog at the moment, have not used background yet.

I noticed on the old bleeding edge version that when I tried to record audio
it would lock up the program?
I never bothered with it because I do my own external recording.
