Hi Joao,

It's pretty strange that it's happening to two of your PCs - did you get asked by Windows Firewall to allow Muvizu access to the internet? (you need to let Launcher.exe and Muvizu.exe through) If both machines have access to the internet and both machines are allowing Muvizu and the Launcher through the Firewall it's possible that it's your Router that is blocking Muvizu.

Muvizu goes through port 80 and instructions on how to open ports can be found at: http://portforward.com/ it's got a pretty comprehensive list of Routers and the procedures used to open ports (just view the default guide and add port 80).

If you would rather update the cache files I have created a self-extracting file - all you need to do is unzip it:

http://www.filefront.com/17189470/Muvizu Cache - Vista and 7.exe

Please let me know how you get on.
-Jim.
edited by glasgowjim on 8/12/2010

It was worth a try - the last thing I can suggest is creating the Folder yourself and manually installing the cache files to that location.

I have uploaded the cache files to Rapid Share at http://rapidshare.com/files/411786865/Cache.zip so if you download then open the zip file you can then have access to the cache files.

If you move them to the Program Data\Muvizu folder that you have created it should, hopefully, work.

I would recommend scanning the .zip file with a virus scanner before you open it - just in case.

Whether this works or not I will be passing this on to the Devs to see if they can figure out the cause.

-Jim.
