i just liked the idea of someone jumping around their bedroom in front of a webcam with bits of paper sellotaped to them self for no apparent reason!




My honest take on it is that there are better and less embarrassing ways to create animation. Yes mocap has its place and maybe its a personal thing but if I find myself leaping around my house with coloured wristbands and matching pants then I know for me that i've taken this hobby a step too far




and that goes for skintight green suits with ping pongs attached aswell

just record yourself as you described and post the video on the forum and the muvizu cam encoders will run the mocap facility on it for you and send the required code for your movie to your inbox

Imagine if you can move your character with the webcam !




You can do it with pieces of paper coloured and signed (just like the augmented reality).




Each body part has a different piece of paper attached, and the webcam recognizes your movements.

I ask if is possible to animate arms and legs in the next release of the software.

Now you can move the head, eyes, walk and using some dance presets, but its better to freely automate body parts, because if i want to make a music video with dancers..i cant do.







Yeah i know..more hours of work, but the characters are limitated now.
