Hi Mike,

Glad you are enjoying it - you can also import background audio and sound effects in the Prepare>Audio section - you can use them at the same time as your dialogue.

Any other questions or suggestions please let us know,
-Jim.
edited by glasgowjim on 8/10/2010

Hi Jim
Thanks for that. I have audacity I can do that ok.
From your comments I understand that only 1 audio file per animation can be uploaded as I had suspected. However grasped the work around, thanx again. By the way having great fun using the software.

Mike

Hi mmcneice and thanks for trying Muvizu.

You can only upload 1 Dialogue track at a time, in the office we use a programme called Audacity for editing and joining audio clips - if you do the following you should be able to get the desired effect:

Open your second clip in Audacity
Select all of the second clip, then copy it (Ctrl+C)
Open your first clip in Audacity and place the cursor at the end of the wave
Go to the Generate>Silence command and enter the desired gap
Paste the second Clip (Ctrl+V)
Export the audio track as a .wav file
You should now have an audio track that you can use

Audacity can be found at http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ but please remember all 3rd party software is used at your own risk.

Take care,
-Jim.

I have 2 characters in the animation.

I tried to use two seperate .wav files for the talking. The first character speaks first (for about 10 secs) then some 20 seconds later another character speaks for about 8 secs. However it appears that the importing overwrites the first .wav file used. Can the application manage 2 seperate .wav files for use in teh animation at different times?

Thanx
edited by mmcneice on 8/9/2010
