I actually came back to write a P.S., and you'd already replied! I meant surreptitiously in the first place, as then there's no, uh, performance anxiety. But it also depends on the individual - and, anyway, you soon forget you're being recorded. Different from a camera being present, for sure.

Great fun to present them with a wee animation, complete with representations of them. Subsequently, sure, they would be in the know. But the first time, I'd like it to be a surprise. I like to collaborate, too: but I'd like to get a bit more familiar with Muvizu first, so I can be in more of a position to move ahead relatively quickly. (Yeah, I know, could easy work the other way round - not married to one way or the other, just so aware of how powerful Muvizu is, and how I only know that in principle :-)

They do say, "write what you know." So it sounds as though you're on the right track. But why do it surreptitiously? Why not enlist their help? I most love making films when it's a collaborative process.

Have been watching the tutorials and - like many people I'm sure - my initial efforts have gone into creating avatars of me and people I know. My master plan is to surreptitiously do some recordings and animate to that.

(Great tutorials, by the way but.)

:-) :-)
Go, corraodj! Nice to see a bit of satire in Muvizu users' offerings. Thank you, and thank you, Muvizu, for providing such well thought-out software. Now all I need to do is figure out how to use it as well as these guys...

Thanks for the kind words, Emily. And I do love Muvizu and the great additions you guys included in Beta. Any chance you'll add some Christmas-themed objects (Santa's hat, for example) in the coming weeks?

Anyway, here's the follow-up episode, Gnome TV #2 - General Election 2010:

A big aloha from Hawaii,
DJ

Hehe - cheers for that Corraodj!

Altho...some news presenters are so lacklustre, I think I'd rather have a gnome

Please do post your follow up episodes. I'm glad you like Muvizu.

The feeling is mutual!

http://www.muvizu.com/Forum/topic435-top-things-we-love-about-our-users.aspx

Thanks for getting in touch, if you have any questions feel free to get in touch.

Em.

Here's my first video with the new Muvizu Beta. If anyone likes this first one, I'll post links to the two follow-up episodes. Thanks to the folks at Muvizu for making it so easy to learn how to tell stories, and thanks to the whole Muvizu community for being so cool.
