Hello

Muvizu will be released again soon. The biggest, most obvious change will be the overhauled user-interface. It looks and behaves a little differently than before, and it means I'll have to redo all the Video Tutorials.

So, before I start making new tutorials I'd like to hear your requests. Alongside the usual mix of tutorials what would you like explained in more depth? What did we miss out the last time? How can we make them better?

And no, before you ask, I can't speak with anything other than a Scottish accent.

I like your tutorials very much, Barrys. Of course, a tut on what's new focusing on only new additions would be helpful. I'm also like the 4-part create a scene tut you did, it would be great to see that in the Mivizu update. Personally, I'd like to see a more detailed tut on animation and rendering if you can fit them in.

good luck on the new version!

I second the "show us just what's new" idea as well. Show how it works now in comparison with the old version so I'm not screaming and cursing any more than I normally am.

Looking forward to the new version!

I found that the tutorials were one of the great strengths of Muvizu, compared to other animation programs. Personally, the area I found hardest to get round was object movement, especially lifting objects, dropping objects that were floating, and rotation paths. Cheers!

The previous tutorials, as mentioned by others, were superb. As for tutorials for the new release, a basic one on...'Hell there's a new release...so I have to delete the old stuff, down load the new?', something for the real noddy like moi!
Something on getting the very best facial animations...something I am really struggling with at the moment.
And perhaps a little one on things like codecs and rendering the final movie, quality tweaks etc etc
and if at all possible a quick tutorial on how to stop my Mrs spending all my 'hard earned' in what ever accent you choose!

A tutorial highlighting the new features would be nice. Maybe detailed one explaining codecs, rendering and such. Possibly a more detailed tutorial about how to use the timeline to fine tune things. All with the Scottish accent of course!

When a new Muvizu update is released. Yes, I also agree that a tutorial or two explaining the new features would be nice to have at the same time.

I think it may be helpful if the tutorials were reorganised on the website into sections which would make them easier to locate
Eg. Lighting tutorials, character tutorials, camera tutorials etc

Just a thought.

I also think that tuts showing the new features would be great - but there also needs to be a lot more - just basic things like making backgrounds move, how to make objects move (that needs to be updated) - also the tuts done by users such as Dreeko should be included in the one page...in fact to be honest the site needs a overall - there are buttons that don't link to the correct page and it's not easy to find things (at least I don't think so)....cannot wait for the new release though....Oh and can the audio be louder and consistant please? - found a couple that are hard to hear.

Quoling is right, the audio levels were sometimes inconsistent. If you use Audacity (or other audio application) just normalize the audio to the same level each time (-4db should work). And I very much agree that Dreeko's tuts should be on one page.
