I have had a simlar problem when trying to post comments on videos. I get this message

Sorry, we could not post your comment at this time.

The only way I can post a message on a muvizu video is to do it straight from youtube and bypass the muvizu site.

Any help appreciated

Sorry about this, I've been looking in to this since yesterday but still getting to the bottom of it all.

Can I just check first, is your YouTube account linked to a Google account? If you created your YouTube account before May 2009 it may not be, but they insist on having a Google account now.

My YouTube account still shows linked and is linked to a Google account. I haven't tried to upload a video but imagine I'd get the same error since I definitely do when I attempt to comment on videos here.

Yeah my youtube account is linked to a google account, force into it as you said. I just unlinked the account but still get the same message.

Posts: 139 		OK I think we've found out what the problem is - YouTube made a change on 31st August (which I won't bore you with unless you're interested!)

Anyway, can you try removing the association between your Muvizu and YouTube accounts and then re-linking them again please? All your existing videos should re-appear back on our site within a few hours, and hopefully you'll be able to comment etc. again.

You can do this by clicking on then on this site, and then click beside your YouTube account name. Then click to associate them again.

Fingers crossed this will work! Half the problem is that we can't recreate it with any Muvizu staff accounts.

Danimal, if you could try the same and see if it fixes your video commenting issue, I'd appreciate that.

I'll get the site updated to detect when this happens and display some info...

Posts: 477 		It did work. That was my initial thought but when the giant warning that my videos would be removed popped up I chickened out. I did it now and indeed I can post comments again.

I do hope the videos show again, even though I think I only had four or five.

Posts: 201 		Kinda getting a problem again posting. When I post a comment on a video and it doesn't show on the muvizu comments but it does show on youtube.
