Posts: 12 		Hi everyone, I'd like to invite Muvizu staff and everyone interested in making animated movies with software such as Muvizu to the 2010 Machinima Expo (now in it's 3rd year) - Don't worry, you don't even have to get out of your chair to attend, and its completely free, and there's free beer and pie...oh hang on...no, there's no free beer or pie.



The Expo takes place in the virtual world of Second Life (again, its free). Once in-world you can transport to the expo site, meet like-minded folks, watch LOTS of machinima/animated movies, ask questions, talk to the pros, and generally have a fun time.




It's in November 2010, no specific date set yet, just wanted to give you all advance warning.

The expo is a well respected online event run by a dedicated team of
volunteers.

It is FREE to enter, and FREE to attend.

Just a gentle reminder to anyone who's interested - the Machinexpo 2010 event in Second Life is taking place this weekend. A few of the Muvizu team will be there throughout the weekend manning the booth and eager to talk to people about the software. So, if you're around and fancy a chat, stop by!

Also, our MD Vince will be doing a brief presentation/talking about Muvizu so make sure you're around to check it out.

Posts: 39 		First day of the Expo went very well despite a few initial glitches. Muvizu has a nice booth in Second Life and Vincy Ryan will present the program at 10am Pacific Time tomorrow (Sunday, Nov 21st) with a brand new Intro Video followed by a Q&A. Lots of fun. All you need is an internet connection and a browser. Tune it at:

for the live video/audio feed. There is also a time converter there under "Schedule" so you can figure out what time the events are in your timezone.




Our thanks again to Muvizu for help in making the Expo a better festival.

Posts: 39 		Congratulations to Vince and the crew for putting together such a great Muvizu presentation at the Expo. Barry's Intro video was just the ticket and created quite a lot of interest in machinima filmmakers who didn't know about Muvizu.



My thanks to Muvizu for sponsoring the Expo and for doing such a good job of introducing Muvizu to everyone. FYI, according to preliminary stats the Muvizu presentation on Sunday had the highest attendance around the world of all of the presenations. Just a guess right now, but at least 150 viewers at the web portal and half again viewing in Second Life. Bravo!
