what is a backdrop, onto which one can import a png file?

Posts: 5 		I have tried to add all different files to create a backdrop. I have PLAY+, I thought it would have been a little more like it says on the tin. Seems to boast a lot, but when it actually comes down to it, it is not as good as it tries to make out
