We have our first entry! That looks good eugenecheese, simple but effective. Let's see how it compares to the coming clips.
You may submit as many entries as you like, but this will not increase your chances in the randomly selected prize.

Rocque, I look forward to seeing your idea take shape.

I have been spending a lot of time on the entry so far and will most likely only have one entry. Sometimes making these turns into more work than fun. Then I have to stop and realize I am spending too much time on it. I am thinking I will have some extra time after August 5th and might be able to put my ideas together then. Right now it is mostly experimenting. Like I filmed character actions but forgot to add cameras, and when I looked at the layers they were all empty. HA.

I am not going to watch any of the entries for 2 reasons. 1. I will not enter. 2. I will be influenced by other's creativity which I know I could not duplicate, but it might not work if I saw the others first.

Keep entering though, once mine is submitted I can check the others out.

My entry did not happen to me or anyone I know, just made it up. It had to escalate quite quickly to fit the 20 seconds.
Enjoy and good luck to the other contestants!

3 Entries in less than a week! This is looking good!
If enough people enter the competition then a 3rd winner may be possible, so make sure to tell your friends!

IKES, that was awesome!

Great job on the set and on setting a believable mood with party music! The story did escalate quickly, but it remained cohesive and continued to make sense throughout. Fires DO tend to flare up quickly, after all.

It's looking like I won't have time for this contest, unless I get inspired in a couple of different ways and wrap up some other commitments way earlier than expected. In addition to the main commitment that's keeping me busy, I promised Clayster a set of utility mood songs for his finger pistols series. He's been waiting over a month already, and it wouldn't be OK to push his project back to make time for a contest.

Yeah, I know its only 20 seconds, but I'm working on retirement time, and I'm really slow at everything.

hehe, thanks Pat! Too bad you can't partcipate in the competition, unfortunately you can spend your time only once... Maybe next time.

I might still be able to submit if I can wrap up Claysters music today or tomorrow... depends on my ability to stay focused (not a good track record since retirement) ;-)

you know nothing's going to turn out okay when there are that many empty seats on the plane, but you still get stuck sitting next to another passenger.

OH no. I still have not watched any but mine has an airplane theme, too. This is why I do not watch any. I am hoping I can have it done, but we will see. It is another learning opportunity, and I am making slow progress. My 2 hours tonight was all failure, but I am learning how to fail. According to Edison that makes you closer to success.

Thanks, Tony. I am going to be working on it today. Please do not die waiting!! There are better reasons to stay alive than my video. HA. Just joking, but now I feel more urgency to finish. I have a few more scenes to do then final edits including adding sounds. Hopefully it will be totally different from yours. I am so tempted to watch yours just to see, but I am not going to. I probably won't finish it for another week at least. I have limited time to work on it.

Well, I managed to come up with an entry after all... by not modelling anything. Everything that isn't stock Muvizu or from the user assets is a 2d graphic merged in Hit film. (LOVE that program!)

Basically the video depicts about 13 or 14 vacation scenarios that I would hate to experience... starting with getting squished on the flight between two other passengers... then going on to include everything from lost luggage, a really bad hotel, gnats on the beach, rain, a speeding ticket, a beach bar where all the girls are dogs (both literally and figuratively), close encounters with a shark and a bear, no toilet paper when you need it most, getting mugged, car breakdown, and finally a relaxing day floating down the river of death.

Action is driven by an original song appropriately titled "20 seconds"

Oh we've got some fighting talk here.
We'll have to see what the judges will pick.
