I would like a character to move his lips using different tracks. I have 5 tracks, 1-2 are for character A and 3-4-5 for character B. If character A moves his lips for track 1, when I register the dialogue with track 2 he no longer moves them on 1, how should i do? Where am I wrong? Does the audio track have to be unique for each character? Thanks.

Hi Psicomia,

You can only use one audio track per character. So you need to combine your tracks in an audio editor like Audacity. Or you can render the movie in parts with first one track, then change the audio track and render the next part. Then you need to combine the parts in a video editor.

Hope this helps.

Ciao Psicomia,

Thanks, a little boring the process but with Audacity, I had already solved this way. I prefer to do everything inside Muvizu, I don't have a good video editing program and I lose quality.

You should segregate 2 different audio products to avoid confusion.

In order to assign the same audio clip to a character in different scenes, the audio must be split and then re-assigned in all scenes

It sounds like you're working on a project that involves lip-syncing characters to audio tracks. To ensure that character A continues to move his lips while dialogue is registered on track 2, you should consider using a process called multi-track audio editing. Here's how you can achieve this:
Multi-Track Audio Editing Software: You need audio editing software that supports multi-track editing. Popular options for this include Adobe Audition, Audacity, or professional-grade tools like Pro Tools.
Separate Tracks for Each Character: Import your audio tracks into the software and place each character's dialogue on separate tracks. In your case, tracks 1 and 2 for character A and tracks 3, 4, and 5 for character B.
Overlapping Dialogue: Make sure the dialogue on track 2 for character A starts after track 1 ends, allowing for a seamless transition. This means character A's lip movement should match the audio on both tracks.
Syncing Lip Movement: Use visual cues in your editing software, such as waveform visualization or a video reference, to align the lip movement with the audio. Adjust the timing and position of the lip movements on each character's video accordingly.
Fine-Tuning: Carefully adjust the lip movement on each character's video to ensure that it matches the dialogue on their respective tracks. You may need to zoom in and make precise adjustments to achieve the best synchronization.
Preview and Test: Play back the scene to ensure that the lip-syncing looks and sounds natural. Make any necessary adjustments until you achieve the desired result.
Export: Once you're satisfied with the lip-syncing, export the final video with the edited audio tracks.
Remember that the key is to have separate audio tracks for each character, allowing you to control their lip movements independently while ensuring smooth transitions between tracks. This method should help you achieve the effect you're looking for. If you have any further questions or need assistance with a specific software, feel free to ask. Good luck with your project!
