Suggestion: Drag from Prepare to Timeline ...and the award for the topic that deviated furthest from it's starting point is.... This One!

Sound mixing issues Berty, you can indeed encode a DVD with 5.1 surround, but it's down to your video editor to manage it - either integrated into the movie itself, or as a seperate stream. I know Vegas has all kinds of surround options (which I've never used!) but it looks like it's really just a case of defining positional information for the sound fx travel and location. Damn, something else I've got to research now for my own movies...

Okay, so who isn't creeped out by that?!

Dreeko's extra bits Freaky and awesome - nice job! The blend line is going to be the tricky bit I guess, but regardless, the characters look unique and that's what's lacking somewhat in Muvizu with our range of existing characters. The old boy on the far left there looks particularly good, I thought.

I've had a couple of weeks with the product now... Prepare Character properties + animate Expression slider = Range of emotions

Render not working.... <sigh> who would have thought such a simple thing...

Anyway, look, of course I knew about creating new directories in the default windows window that shows you your files. Now, I don't know if you've ever tried to convince Windows 7 to remember the view settings in a popup window before, but let me assure you its not interested in your wishes Therefore, to avoid having to resize/faff about with the window each and every time while trying to check anything before I render out, I switch to a view of that folder that's always present in my taskbar, check the names (or images or sounds or whatever), type out the folder name, go back to Muvizu, type out the tga name to match the folder, and render.

That's all, that having to type out the same name twice, that's the bit. That's all. Honest

Render not working.... No, you're quite right, you can name the TGAs, it's just the folder bit that's a pain.

Render not working.... Here, just to clarify, is the problem with the way Muvizu currently handles targa sequences (for me and ukBerty at least):

I have to leave the program to create a new directory for each shot, come back, and render out the targa sequence into that folder and name it again to match the folder. Tedious. So tedious that, as you can see, I just gave up naming the output and left it to be the default name. No problem with that you'd think, until you load up the sequences in Vegas... now they're all called the default name, because that's what the tga is called, so I have to rename the shots again anyway!

When we output a targa sequence, we want to enter a name for the shot - we would like Muvizu to create a folder with that name, then output the tga stream into that folder using that name. That would be tremendously helpful. We know, it's not like it's a bug or anything, but it's a time waster and we're not getting any younger

The Day of The Doctor trailer in Muvizu Okay, I've got a confession to make. Two actually - I stopped watching after Tom Baker left. Well, watched but struggled to care about Peter Davidson's lame version, then lost all hope at the sight of Colin Baker (what were they thinking?).

Secondly, my brother built the Daleks used in the BBC drama "An Adventure In Time & Space" as well as trundling around inside the lead one (since he built them, he insisted on being Dalek Wrangler). He sold one of the Daleks to the writer Mark Gatiss, incidentally. Still got 2 in storage I think, if anyone has thousands to spend on a full size Dalek you can pedal around in

Change to object movement I would have thought the idea of making the object you're moving transparent is so that it doesn't obscure the view of the set beyond, in case you need to line it up with something or other (especially if you're locked to the axis). Okay, that almost never happens, but the idea is valid - having the option to set it to be transparent if you need it might be a better way to go.

Polygons a "study" :) Hair is awesome

Search is shonky? As far as I can remember, the movies that the Easter Egg codes unlock were created in an animation package, but they didn't use the Muvizu program to do it.

I tried to tell a story. Suicidal bombs and a farting alien - what more could you want?

I tried to tell a story. "Benson, Arizona" is one of my fave tunes - I had to rip it from the Dark Star DVD to get the full version, but it's a classic... Sorry Sofie, I know this has nothing to do with your movie, but I do love that film too Anyway, good effort for your first Muvizu movie! Look forward to seeing what you come up with in future.

Oh I'm sure they do, but at least they don't expect you to then comment about it on f**king Google+ afterwards.
