helloooo This is my favourite place however you will need to convert the models which is not hard.

http://www.archive3d.net/

you can use the autodesk converter if your not worried about collision or you can add collision in blender or some other application and slap on a few textures while your at it.

How can I use smooth transitions between scenes? Yup you need to use a video editor and for those people that dont know it youtube has a built in editor that you can edit your clips together in and put some text and make a title and add some simple transitions.

Movement problem Yes this is an old bug i have taken advantage of at times. You will need to make a copy of the avatar and remove the old one. I dont know if there is any other way to deal with it. You will have to edit your video at that point just copy him and place him in the exact position of the one that is bugged and keep the ends where you have to replace him (old and new) and edit this glitch out when you assemble the video

I think Urbanlamb will agree with me that the best free 3d editor is Blender. Since it can do almost anything but has a bit of a learning curve, I totally recommend it. Once you have it you can download the free fbx import/export module from their website (www.blender.org)

i have managed to turn a few muvizu users to "the dark side" and they are starting to use blender. I would not call it an editor though its more of a studio which is why it scares people but I think Mr hamster has managed to tame it as well. He sent me a copy of a toon car he was working on that looked really nice.

Brilliant voice actor on Fiverr I have a few people that are decent i picked up off of there as well as I have a dj who does stuff for me (although its not his normal use he does dj drops etc) but his voice was one of those deep ones that well are prevalent in dj's tis worth it to be honest they have sound equipment etc etc and if your not in a rush you can save up

New experimental video You said you disputed the claim? that is how you got it to pop up in the muvizu cms as when you dispute the blocks are temporarily removed however the claim was likely reviewed and the copyright holder rejected your dispute and re-initiated the block.

Go review the dispute you will see the outcome.

There's a mailing list? Whaaaaa? Am I on it? If not why not?

I think Urbanlamb is referring to the mailing list which is mentioned on
the Digimania website

yeah the digimania list yeah in this case i was referring to that. I joined that one a few weeks back I was already on the muvizu list if your not getting muvizu mail login to your muvizu account and check the box in to get mail. So yes there is also a muvizu list but you need to check in the box on your muvizu profile to accept mail from them.

Will there be a new version of Muvizu this year? I had assumed they were naming the render software they are working on now as muvizu pro which looking at the screenshots of what I saw is what I am looking for but we shall see. Anyhow if its not them it will be octane or something I get seeing as I am trying to build a system to handle large projects and render in real time engines (in many cases its hard to tell the difference these days) I figured since I like the properties of unreal engine and play with their out of the box package from time to time it seemed that this render software is exactly what I want.

I love iclone but I also love the unreal lighting system and if i can place a system that would act like iclone (open back end) and take advantage of unreal that would be my dream product Big Grin

If it will run with maya LT and/or blender I am so there!

lol i am waiting for this fabled item actually. If the price makes sense and it does what I need it to do I probably will purchase it. Maybe I am the only one but i want the chains of creativity removed that I am enduring in the present muvizu and judging at how muvizu has been behaving with the added texture layers (not well.. ) I think its time for me to turn to their other product and hope it does what I think its gonna do because if so it will be epic and then I can get back to video making. At the moment now that I have the ability to add more shinies I dont want to go backwards and remove them just so's I can make a video I have come to the conclusion that the tool I want is likely the one they are developing now - which is why I am on their mailing list ^^

Hello Everyone! okay this thread is being pulled way to far off topic i have deleted my reply about it because i realized you were doing this in a thread with someone asking a question when i talked about it yesterday. Perhaps post in the feedback forum. All this complaining in a thread where someone is asking for a solution is not helping the poor guy

so here i will repost the solution

to save sets as you do dialogue put a number beside the set and dont remove the dialogue so if you need to edit it you can go back to the set and edit it and rerender it.

this goes for muvizu or any other software its a good idea to save out your sets and not over write them

*pulls thread back onto the topic*

New experimental video Dylly wrote:

One Christmas Eve I walked home from work and thought about popping into my local for a quick snifter before getting down to the annual wrapping marathon. I looked through the window of the smoke room where around twenty customers all sat with a pint in front of them, not talking to one another as they were all sat texting on their phones. I didn't bother going for a pint and went home instead.

watching this behaviour was what made me throw out the mobile devices. I never did that but i thought "how rude" when i went to the restaurant with people and they would plop their phone on the table beside their plate and actually answer the phone while eating and having a lunch date. I also *cough* threw a family members phone into the toilet one evening when they kept using it at the diner table. Yes you heard me I tried to flush their iphone of course it was not flushable but they got the message and lost their phone.

Suffice it to say when people come into the house and sit down at the table no more mobile devices are anywhere near the diner table ^^. Me asking didnt work so i made my point swimmingly by attempting to flush an iphone ^^

New experimental video I used to have cell phones but one day came to a realization that people expected me to be "plugged in" 24/7 which I found to be well you know unfair so I threw em out quite literally lol. I said to people "i have voice mail on all my land lines and email use that".

I dont do much writing though no one can read it (i am a lefty so i learned to type out of self defense.. but i refuse to be plugged into the world 24/7 )

Bigwally, this video isn't appearing in our system because we're getting a response back saying "Syndication of this video was restricted". You can change this setting for the video in YouTube.

Seems that they limited the video from being viewed on phones and mobile devices. I went ahead and disputed the copyright claim, even though I know I'm totally wrong. I know, I know. I will get a strike eventually and the video will be pulled and Godley and Creme's children will have to go without dinner. It will be the first strike ever (this year).

We'll see how this goes. Funny there's so much bother for a "lesser" video.
