  • Is there some trick to getting the characters to lip sync to the audio. Have two characters and only one will sync and then only part way through the video. Have looked at the tutorial but it does not apply to the current version of Muvizu

    • No particular trick but it is almost always necessary to adjust the speak and shush bars for each character in the timeline when you have got them all recorded.

    • the answer depends on how you recorded your dialog. If you have a separate dialog track for each character, just assign that that track to the character. If your audio file contains both parts, you assign both characters to the track, then (cont)

    • ... then use TALK and SHUSH to toggle which character lip synchs to the dialog. Using separate dialog files for each character is easier. I think there is a bug with TALK and SHUSH at present, unless it got fixed in the March 31 release...

    • Adjusting speak and shush is part if not the problem, as when I go to direct the pop up window that contains speak/shush goes light gray and can not be activated.

    • Did you assign the audio track to the characters used in the scene?

    • each audio was assigned to a specific character and speak was clicked on for that dialogue. Two characters, one works fine the other starts out ok but then quits sync.

    • What does it all look like on the timeline? Is there a full waveform for each character?

    • Yes, each characters has a separate block of speech on the timeline.

    • I think I've got it, thank you all for your help but it was the way I did the set up from Audicity that was my issue found the tutorial on multipul tracks and did a test and it all worked fine, again thanks.
