Posts: 16 		Hi muvizuers happy new year, i am currently running muvizu on my sony vio runs pretty decent only some of the free sets make my computer slow. so i decided to build my own pc ,i also do hd video editing which is taxing on my machine. i would love to have the ultimate muvizu experience, meaning, not get crazy but have nice sets lights multiple characters etc and not pull my hair out because pc is slowing to unproductive pace. could anyone give me shopping list of components needed to build such a pc.

I would also add if you buy a lot of memory 8GB for example make sure you get a 64 bit version of Windows as this will make sure the CPU will use all the memory available - I think 32bit can only handle a max of 4GB....more than that is a waste.

I will try to provide some more info as well (these are my own opinions, rather than the opinion of Muvizu HQ ):

HD video editing? I would definitely recommend an Quad Core Processor - ideally an i7, but an i5 (if it's quad core) is a very good alternative.

Pete was right about the RAM - the more the better, but if you get any more than 3GB get a 64-bit Operating System, and DDR3 ram if possible. (Corsair brand RAM is generally very good)

The video card memory also falls into the more is better category - try to get a 1GB card at minimum. Generally Nvidia cards perform better with the Unreal 3 engine, but ATI's cards are pretty good as well.

The higher up the card is, the better it should perform.
