Not that Tie again I create 12 males and give them all different tops with different coloured ties. I save the set. When I open it all the ties have reverted to the same custom pattern. Is there a bug here?

Hi Ziggy - Thanks for that. I think I was really sounding off about there being an apparant slot on her ears in the edit but it told you there wasnt when you went to attach something. I made a pair of earings in sketchup and attached them to the glasses slot. As always, I had to mess around plenty with scaling.

I actually have the UV for Mandy - you have to go to support and request it. They probably dont give it out as per the previous character UVs because it is in the form of a pile of .tga files, which people might have trouble with.

I will post a pic of her on facebook.

How can give Mandy earings ? Mandy is out in her evening dress. I found a necklade which I attached to her chest, but when I went to attach some earings to her her ears it told me there was no socket in spite of one showing up on the edit menu.

Mobile Phone Action That is a very cool arm - is that a 3D object attached to the character? My solution is altogether more basic.
The range of character actions overall needs much more development.

Mobile Phone Action You can have a characters pick up a mobile– but can they talk on it ? No. The sequence completes and they put the phone away.
Work arounds? Sometimes I have the character turn with their back to the camera and then freeze the image while the talking audio continues, then cut back to ending the call. Sometimes I go for a close up of the face with full lip sync and superimpose a png image of an arm and hand captured seaprately. Both require a lot of faffing around with a video editor and neither very satisfactory. Am I the only user finding this a problem?

The names Pond......Charles Pond..... Every year we go to the 'Pearl Beach Hotel' in Crete and I decided to use the resort as background for an 007 spoof in muvizu. As well as my own photos I found lots of video footage on the net (no I didnt use any with close ups of people). I have used Premier and After Effects to pull it all together and add a few extra bits. This is only Part 1 - there are plenty shoot-outs, car and helicopter chases to come. Might even get it finished one day.

CHILD CHARACTERS We have a fair range of adults in muvizu, and boy and girl teenagers. It would be really useful to have a pair of young children. I have been asked to make a road safety animation with primary school kids. I can maybe get away with the boy - but not the girl.

The Gone Forever Tree Enjoyed it - I liked the use of video of the wildlife - maybe a little slowish for the opening titles. I would have aimed for maybe 10 mins and cut out one of the searches. Nice music, set, lighting and overall ambience.

Windows 10 Update Issue HELP! MuvizuPlay+. Phew - and I was just thinking about upgrading to Windows 10 - I don't think I will bother until it is all sorted.

muvizu ase exporter and Sketchup 2015 It looks Sketchup have changed how it handles pug-ins (now it seems called extensions) . There isn't a folder to drop the .rb file into as with sketchup 8. People are saying make it into a zip file and install it through Preferences\ Extensions. Doesn't work like that for me. Any suggestions ? go back to sketchup 8?

Youth Education Program Using Muvizu! I like the park venue for the girls. They were both gabbling a bit with hardly a pause for breath. I would opened the recording in Audacity and inserted some short silences ( 1 sec, 2 sec) between sentences, to make it all easier to listen to, and more like a real conversation.
I worked on animations with kids with learning difficulties and sometimes had to do a lot of editing on their narrations / dialogue. Some kids would only speak very quietly, or with long pauses, or needed lots of prompting. Sometimes I would leave them alone recorder running and say, do it as many times as you like, till you are happy you have got the words right. Afterwards I would edit out all the false starts, umms and mistakes. Its amazing what can be done like this, sometimes even with kids with quite sever speech impediments.

Sustained mobile call My characters can pick up a mobile, and can turn it off and replace it in pocket after a few seconds. To have a conversation I have to have the character walk off behind a pillar or do something complicated with an overlay of a hand a phone against a close up of a face . Now we can have a proper mobile held in the hand, I would love to be able to have the phone action operate like the sit / stand pose - 2 separate actions pick / put down

360 panoramic video I started this topic because I was intrigued by the 360 videos you can rotate with the mouse as they run . I also saw some displays by a local outfit called Igloo who are showing these on the inside of domes from four linked projectors, very impressive.
Some of the companies on the net are selling the multi cameras with rig and software. In Muvizu of course our cameras are free and it would easy to sync the recorded action within the scene. I was really just fishing to see if anyone knew an easy way to stitch those camera shots together and view the whole thing.
