4/8/15 Release Bugs I think it'd be much easier on us all if we could just use our voices to "direct" those pesky lil "characters" into actions and then tell THEM to edit the final film together in 10 minutes while we go get the movie munchies from the kitchen for MuviNight...just sayin...8) jk

TGA takes the same amount of time to render, has no limits, keeps all it's frames in a dedicated folder, and you can alter individual frames (in photoshop or whatever) before you edit them together. Sod movie files, get the source frames and you have so much more control, like ukBerty just posted about (the Depth Pass option, another TGA bonus feature). Embrace it dude! Big Grin

Render times are probably more to do with your PC spec rather than the format. At higher resolutions the 2GB limit will get you pretty soon so we're all just left with.... TARGA !

I was a late adopter of these and since moving to them all the silly little issues have gone.

I suspect no matter what you do you are heading for TARGA Time.

LOL @ ukBerty!! Thanks buddy, ...oddly I already tried that in desperation last night, but stopped it, cuz the folder was getting HUGE quickly ugh.

The BIG Ol' Codec**t and Windows 10... Well, I'm not sure where things went awry with my previous rendering tests(things changed w/more detailed sets!), but I now seem to be STUCK! with Uncompressed, MSVC1, IUYV/IUYVi420, proDAD(crashes Muvizu), Targa, and most of which take over 90+ minutes to render 1.5 minutes and render 4gb+ file sizes that are too huge to import anywhere!?!? I'm impatient yeah, but I've killed days trying to figure this out, as I have stated before, I don't like the idea of downloading codec paks, especially in the ever so buggy windows 10! xvid doesn't even work in it.
I've achieved some really cool things here I just cannot render them high quality in an acceptable timeframe...ugh there's GOTTA be an easier way...why doesn't Muvizu have other codec options installed? or a secure method/site to get whatever is needed. Once it's out of Muvizu I'm good, I can put it in my editor and shrink it fine...thoughts?

Why can't I use my free Content Packs? Listen here Smartypants, lol ok now that that Haha is outta my system(Finally got to say it to someone).

I've been using this software for many many years(which means a lot more than 3), and I can tell ya you're late to the party pal, I believe it was stated long ago (somewhere I know..forums maybe or email) as every change or improvement has been made by Muvizu to existing Muvizuers that unless you dig deep (HaHa) for that waddled up cash in the extremely low ridiculously low amount of $29.99 (I wasted no time in buying it! along with most others here) you would be missing out on the BENE'S... So as a fellow Muvizuer here, I can tell ya it's WELL WORTH IT!, AND Muvizu does inform all of it's users of each change/improvement it makes, they in no way play "Robin Hood" or leave you in the dark, if you're in the dark, you're either new, lost, or ya didn't pay the electric bill...if it's the last one, you're gonna have to pay the electric bill 1st, just so you can use your computer, to use Muvizu, to upgrade to MuvizuPlay+ to reap the Bene's everybody obviously wants anyway.
Seriously though, it's a no brainer, trust me.

Windows 10 Update Issue HELP! MuvizuPlay+. Remiel,1. obviously I was not yelling, typing is not my forte, and if my caps is on and I don't realize it til I'm well into it, I think people will know the difference. 2. I stated clearly the flash drive is for my laptop failed as well as every other method...the laptop issue will get resolved later, I'm just glad to finally (using my PC), be able to create animations again with MuvizuPlay+. Thanks though for your input.

Windows 10 Update Issue HELP! MuvizuPlay+. UPDATE: EEFILMZ IS ALMOST BACK IN PRODUCTION!
I NOW HAVE A NEW VIDEO EDITOR THAT I CANNOT WAIT TO USE NOW THAT I OWN IT!(TRIED THE TRIALS LONG AGO).
PRIOR TO THE PURCHASE, I SPENT ALOT OF TIME ON THE PHONE WITH MICROSOFT! ABOUT MY PC, ABOUT MY LAPTOP, AND HERE'S THE SKINNY ON THE POOP: MUVIZUPLAY+ RUNS STABLE NOW ON MY PC WHICH NOW HAS A CLEAN INSTALL OF WINDOWS 10 (HAD TO BUTTWIPE THE PC CLEAN), AND ALL IS WELL WITH THE PC, IF YOU HAVE ISSUES CRASHING OR ANYTHING I HIGHLY SUGGEST WIPING AND STARTING OVER W/A BOOTABLE FLASHDRIVE CONTACINING A FRESH VERSION OF WINDOWS 10 ON IT. ...HOWEVER MY LAPTOP NOW IS ANOTHER HORROR SHOW THANKS TO SOME PIMPLYFACED(I IMAGINE)DORITO EATIN KID AT MICROSOFT WHO DIDN'T KNOW WHAT HE WAS DOING OR DIDN'T CARE AND HE RENDERED MY LAPTOP USELESS WITHOUT AN OPERATING SYSTEM FOR WHICH I HAVE NO RECOVERY DISKS, AND THE RECOVERY PARTITION FAILED TOO, ALONG WITH ME EVEN TRYING TO WIPE THAT AND START OVER...ASUS WANTS ME TO PURCHASE THE RECOVERY DISKS FOR A $1K LAPTOP I BOUGHT 3 YEARS AGO...I MIGHT HAVE TO ADN GO BACK TO WIN7 ON THAT AND START COMPLETELY FROM SCRATCH WITH THE LAPTOP. Windows 10 Update Issue HELP! MuvizuPlay+. Thanks MrDrWho13, Malwarebytes + Bitdefender was what I was using on Windows 7 pro, so I might do that again....

Why not render in tga and chuck it together in a video editor?

As for Muvizu updates, I'd say it's a bit more than a few weeks away, and is almost certain to be backwards compatible.

Windows 10 Update Issue HELP! MuvizuPlay+. Here's what I've discovered now...Brian's advice helped me on my laptop w/windows10 but only for a little bit, again now I get the fatal error until I repeat the processof reverting it back to directx-9, so that's great but not a permanent fix. Next, I've been on the phone w/Microsoft the last few days because while windows 10 upgraded from w7hm easily on my laptop, it upgraded corrupt on my pc w/w7pro...and was a mess, so
1. Brian helped me w/the laptop, then
2. I contacted Microsoft, we worked on my PC remotely, I used the Microsoft Tool to create an ISO file on a New USB Flashdrive making the flashdrive a bootable drive with a FRESH windows 10 OS on it(it took 4 hours exactly), continuing next day...
3. I thought about it overnight and decided F it, CLEAN INSTALL this time(I KNEW I had Everything already backed up on my external drive and other flash drives).

Now I have a Fresh Clean Windows10 Pro on my PC that works! Still have to reinstall programs etc.. I figure I'll redownload and install MuvizuPlay+(yes I have the paid version), and I'll have to copy and paste the key again from email, but I wonder if I should just wait until Muvizu has a viable Windows 10 update or should I just do it now?? ALSO WHEN is this W10 Update going to be Muvizu? And PLEASE make it backwards compatable, because I have Favorite Sets, Favorite Characters, Favorite Models, ETC...that I absolutely NEED and cannot recreate from scratch...cannot afford to lose all my creations! lol...AS of right now I'm testing things(EVERYTHING) out on my upgraded laptop before I do much of anything on my PC. MyBiggest fear is a Malware infestation againlike I had before so I am fiercely trying to figure out which security I will be using on ALL MY MACHINES..and am paranoid about downloading Codecs but I do NEED them again now. I no longer have H264.H265, Xvid doesn't work on windows 10...So not sure what I'lldo there yet...ANyway that's my update...Any Help, tips, Answers to my questions greatly appreciated Thanks!....

Windows 10 Update Issue HELP! MuvizuPlay+. UPDATE: I just found out(on my Laptop), that after the forceload, if I click the Muvizu Icon on the desktop it opens, if I click the icon in the taskbar I still get the Fatal Error...Not a huge deal, just an FYItojust click the desktop icon I guess..or maybe you can replacethe taskbar icon with the one on the desktop..I didn't try...ALSO..This just in: Before I upgrade my PC to Windows 10, I was notified Muvizu has an update, ok so I updated..not once, not twice, but 3 times!!!..I know I'm running the latest build so what gives?? WHY am I constantly being told there's an update since I already updated Muvizu???...I'd like that problem solved before I update to Windows 10.

Windows 10 Update Issue HELP! MuvizuPlay+. Yes I agree with ziggy72, BrianGray made it an EASY fix by listing the steps! I assume when I upgrade both Muvizu and to Windows 10 on my PC, that I'll have to repeat the process, and it should work there too. Idid discover on my laptop though, that I don't have Xvidon my laptop so when I did a test animation, using MSV1 all I got was a black screen, and when I used IUV it was like huge 300-700mbs for a few seconds of animation. I am extremely cautious however of downloading plug ins and things now though, because doing so invited so much malware, adware, Trojans on my pc, that it set my projects back about a year and cost me $$, time, and a lot of aggravation. So, just saying I now finally have everything clean and working great, trying to keep it that way so I can move onto my next big animation project. Thanks ALL for the help! 8) EEFilmz

Windows 10 Update Issue HELP! MuvizuPlay+...I have a licence via email you sent from my purchase of MuvizuPlay+(which I may need you to resend), but my issue is this: I have my copy of MuvizuPlay+ on both my PC(Win7Pro still) and my Laptop(Windows10 update(from win7pro) as of today), I couldn't find info on Windows 10 and if it works w/MuvizuPlay+ or not, so I decided to test it out on my Laptop(with the new update) when I opened MuvizuPlay+ it asked me to download an update, I did and I overwrote my copy of Muvizu and now all I get when I try to open it is the image I have attached and it shuts down. I do NOT know what to do now, because I had planned on using MuvizuPlay+ on BOTH my PC and my Laptop..so now How do I fix this on my Laptop?
and will it work in Windows 10?
and I still have Windows 7 pro on my PC, how can I prevent this from happening on my PC as well before I go ahead and update my PC on windows10?
PLEASE HELP!!!
p.s. - I have a screencapture of the Fatal Error! but don't remember how to post it in forum posts!
