  • Hello. I can export the structure of an item I downloaded from warehouse, thanks to the exporter app, but, even if I save the template files in sketchup and put it in the same folder, Muvizu always opens it the same colour (the colour of toto.bmp)

    • Please help, if possible. This is the only reason why I bought Muvizu, else for me it has no use; since I need it for memory palaces, I need to do my own objects

    • You have to put the textures back into the ASE model once inside Muvizu - just Edit the model and click on the texture boxes and reassign them from wherever they're living on your PC.

    • the ASE files are just text files that can be edited in Notepad.. Open one for editing and notice how the toto color is defined:
      *BITMAP "C:\ut3\toto.bmp"
      
      Use the same format to define your other colors, and the model will open in color

    • if you put a bunch of other colors in the same directory with the toto.bmp, you can easily easily edit files...
      
      *BITMAP "C:\ut3\red.bmp"
      *BITMAP "C:\ut3\blue.bmp"
      *BITMAP "C:\ut3\yellow.bmp"
      same with textures
      *BITMAP "C:\ut3\wood.bmp"
      etc etc
