Hi, this is just a newbie pointer but I've re-recorded all of the video tutorials. People looking forward to voice talent oozing with international appeal and gravitas will be disappointed - they've been recorded in my native Glaswegian again.

Look! a big pink "Tutorials" button at the top of the page

Awrabest. Guid luck wi' Muvizu

Hi Kaynine,

The tutorials are all brand new - Barry was working on them for quite a while. We felt that due to the changes in the interface and the additions made to the software that a completely new set of tutorials were needed.

Take care,
-Jim.

Yeah, sorry Kaynine. All the tutorials are brand new but your old set isn't obsolete. 99% of the way Muvizu works is exactly the same. You'll not have to relearn anything. Making the videos is a long process so I looked at the old set desperately trying to see what we could reuse. Unfortunately there were enough small changes for me to warrant a fresh batch of tutorials.

I'm sure you would watch the new videos and think, 'hang on, I know all this'

If I could point you at some things you may not know, take a look at the following:

#7 - Importing 3D models. Brand new

#11 - cue points

#12 - advanced dialogue. Has a neat trick for managing complicated dialogue using cue-points

#15 - camera animation. Brand new

Hope this helps

Don't miss out on the new version as it does not appear to need any more processing power and there are a lot of changes which make the workflow a good deal easier
all the best

Hi Kaynine,

The download is a complete copy of the full app.

Though, if you run the launcher - and allow it to run the updates, it will just get what it needs to build the new version.

With regards to app requiring more power - it shouldn't really, but... if you install it - and find it's too much for you. I am sure if you got in touch, we could get you a copy of the old one again - to tide you over till you beef up your machine.

Hi Kaynine,

Toonarama is right- the difference between the two versions is pretty minimal (unless you upload a custom model - then your memory requirements increase pretty quickly) so I would say give it a go.

You can update by allowing the Muvizu launcher to access the internet - it's all automated and shouldn't take long with a broadband connection.

If you want to manually download and install the new version Muvizu I would recommend uninstalling it first.

Take care,
-Jim.

Edit: D'oh! I got distracted and Robert beat me to it.

As a fellow caffeine addict, I thought I would share this with you:
