The BIG Ol' Codec**t and Windows 10... If you're not planning to upload to youtube directly from Muvizu, Targa sequences are the only serious option. As the others have said: storage prices have plummeted so it won't break the bank to get a terabyte or two extra storage if that's the issue. Rendering times depend mainly on your graphics card (Or chip, for laptops) so have a look into upgrading if that's the issue. I found using DirectX9 was faster to render with tga files, but you don't get the advantage of using layers.

Sure wish they'd get a move on with this store.... Woah, slow down there! It's only been out for a couple of weeks.
As many others have said, they still have to make sure their system is in place and working before they can let users have free roam of the store. This is only the second time they've had to deal with implementing a payment system. Give it a month or two, then ask again.

I was very confused for a second there, and then I understood the pun.
Thumbs Up

WINE on a Mac I'm not sure if anyone's tested this before - so please, if you do try it, tell us the result.

real scenes You have several options for this effect.
Option 1 is using an avi file on a backdrop within Muvizu, and then placing the character on an invisible block to make it look like they're stood in the scene. (Which is what this clip did I think).
Option 2 is using the greenscreen set and using chroma keying to key out the green leaving a video behind.
Option 3 is using the new layers feature and not selecting for the background to be rendered which is very similar to option 2. I think this is the best option.
There's a new video tutorial on how to use the layers:

For all the options you will need either a video or picture of a real place. For options 2 and 3, you'll need an external video editor to do the work. (although it will probably turn out better than option 1)

I hope this helps,
MDW13

Edit: An additional note - lighting is a large factor in getting this effect to look realistic. Play around with different types of light and shadows until you get the output you want.

Another AVI question I think the problem might be with the .avi format Muvizu uses. If the .avi file exported by Muvizu is bigger than 2GB then it will not play in any video player. Try exporting in smaller sections then using a video editor to re-export the parts together if this is the problem.

video not in gallery Yep, as I've said in the other thread: The Muvizu upload goes directly to youtube, but the staff moderate it before it shows on this site.

Jar Heads: Episode One (Call for Backup) If it's not up by around wednesday, send in a support ticket asking if they've received it. They probably just haven't got round to it yet.

Jar Heads: Episode One (Call for Backup) I think they're only moderated once a week

Thanks, I tried that and now Muvizu is trying to get me to buy a new license, even though I already have a valid play+ license.

I emailed support.

Ignore the link on the welcome message. Go to File-->upgrade-->enter code

How do I load chemistry set? imyourda wrote:
Hello,

I purchased chemistry set, and can't figure out how to open it. I clicked on it, it unzipped, saying it was okay, but I can't find it anywhere on Muvizu. Can someone help?

Thanks

Make sure Muvizu's closed when you install it, and if that doesn't work, try installing it from the option within the Muvizu application.

Update prompt every time I run Muvizu Play+ Chances are you've got 2 versions of Muvizu on your PC and are running the older version. Make sure to tick the box that adds a shortcut to the desktop. If it keeps happening after that, go into the Muvizu root files(Called Muvizu Play or something)-->Binaries-->Muvizu.exe (application) which should open the newest version.

Why can't I use my free Content Packs? Smartypants wrote:
Hi.
I've had Muvizu for a long time and today, I noticed that all my free contents packs are padlocked.
What's going on? Is there a problem?
Since I had them for free, I should be able to keep them for free, don't you think?
Please help me.

The "free" packs have required Muvizu:Play+ for some time now. At the moment it's £25, which is, as many people have already said, an incredibly low price for this software. Especially considering the original price was £150.
The content packs released in the future are likely to be sold separately in the store, as will some user created assets.

Any purchase helps the Muvizu team, and you've been using this software for a "long time" and are obviously pleased with how it works, so consider it a donation to the people who made it.
If you do want to speak to one of the staff about the details, you should probably send in a support ticket: http://www.muvizu.com/Support

Content store opens it's doors! PatMarrNC, that's what Jamie said. The users will eventually be able to sell their own content. Or did I mis-understand what you said?
